Directions: Heat cast iron skillet or pan on medium high. When hot, add 2 tablespoons oil, onion, bell pepper, and cook until translucent, about 6 minutes. Add garlic, salt and pepper, and cook another 30 seconds. Place vegetables in a bowl until you get the meat cooked. Add meat and cook for 2 minutes, until no longer pink. Mix vegetables with meat. Top mixture with cheese and cover to melt quickly. Spoon into warm buns and serve with condiment of choice. Ketchup, Deli mustard, and or Horseradish. |
