Gratin Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Russet Potatoes (scrubbed clean)
  • 1 Clove Garlic chopped very fine
  • 1-1/2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Parmeasan Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper


Preheat oven to 450*


Directions

  • Rub the bottom of an 8" saute pan with the garlic, leave in the pan.
  • Add 1 cup cream and place over high heat.
  • Add salt & pepper
  • Add potatoes sliced to 1/4".
  • When all potatoes are added, add remaining cream.
  • Transfer all ingrediants to a 8 X 8 baking pan, sprinkle top with Parmesan, use as much as you like.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is nicely browned. Serve hot.
